La Peral Blue Cheese Mini Wheel, approx. 200g

La Peral is a lightly blue-veined cheese from northern Spain, made with pasteurised milk and matured for around 30 days until the blue mould is just beginning to develop. Known as Queso Azul Asturiano, it offers a milder alternative to stronger blue cheeses while still delivering plenty of character.

Its texture is smooth yet slightly crumbly, similar to a young Gorgonzola, with a rich savoury flavour, subtle olive notes and a distinctive aroma. This mini wheel is perfect for serving on a cheeseboard, crumbled into salads or enjoyed with crusty bread. It pairs especially well with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon or a classic Sherry.
